Maybe one day I’ll figure out how to write in only one genre. Today is not that day. This, I understand, makes your job as a reader somewhat more difficult. What exactly are you getting here?

Genres and stuff

I’ve published seven novels and two novellas, which you can find on this site. I’m currently on book two of my small town romance series called Big Sky Lake (Big Sky Lake #1, Fire Canyon #2). Don’t Wait For Me (#1), Better Not Love Me (#2) and An Easel for Avery (#3) are a part of the Mr. Z’s Toy Store Romance Series. These are clean love stories with added drama and some action.

You Only Get So Much is a family saga, mainstream fiction. Off The Grid, my debut novel is a thriller. My fifth novel, which is several years in the making, will come out in spring 2021. Hopefully, there is something there for you. 

A little more about my writing: I don’t like to over-describe a scene or character. You can see it in your head better than me. I’m OK with using profanity when tied to character, but not for shock value. Sex (at least the stuff that makes you blush) isn’t the type of thing I will write. I set most of my stories in the Northwest or West Coast because that’s what I know and love. I also like flashbacks that tell a specific point that moves the action ahead.
